Place the butter and onion in a bowl cover and cook for 3 minutes. Mix in the breadcrumbs, sage, seasoning and stock to form a moist doughy consistency. Stuff the chicken and cook 8 to 10 minutes per 500 g. Halfway through the cooking time place the butter, sugar and sherry in a small jug. Cook for 1 minute. Remove the Stuffed Chicken from the oven and brush the Stuffed Chicken with the glaze. Return the Stuffed Chicken to the oven giving the dish a half turn and complete the cooking. Check to see if the Stuffed Chicken is done by sticking a skewer into it where the leg joins with the breast. The juices should run out clear. STUFFED PORK CHOPS RECIPE

Stuffed Pork Chops.

This recipe will teach you how to make Stuffed Pork Chops. It is a quick and easy recipe to make. This is my favourite way of cooking pork chops especially with the wonderful combination of butter, onion, button mushrooms and cooked rice for the stuffing and then topping with tasty cheese and browning it over the top of the Stuffed Pork Chops. What a great meal it makes with boiled potatoes and greens.

Stuffed Pork Chops Ingredients

1 cup grated tasty cheese
4 pork loin chops each 2.5 cm thick

Stuffing:
3 Tbs butter
2 Tbs cooked rice
1 small onion finely sliced
1 cup finely chopped button mushrooms

Stuffed Pork Chops Method

Slice through the pork chops horizontally from one end leaving a border on two sides to form a pocket. Cook the butter on high for 1 minute add the onion and mushrooms and cook on high for 3 minutes. Stir in the rice. Spoon the stuffing mixture into the pockets in the pork chops and secure with toothpicks. Arrange the Stuffed Pork Chops in a dish with the thickest parts to the outer edge. Cover the Stuffed Pork Chops and cook on high for 5 minutes. Rearrange and turn the Stuffed Pork Chops then continue to cook them for a further 9 to 10 minutes on medium. One minute before the end of the cooking time sprinkle with the grated cheese to melt it or brown under a conventional grill. Serve the Stuffed Pork Chops with boiled potatoes and greens.
