SPLIT PEA SOUP RECIPE

This recipe

This Split Pea Soup recipe is full of flavour and a sensational
soup to have on a winters night. My mother and grandmother
use to both make the Split Pea Soup and now my children and
grandchildren are all making this wonderful tasty Split Pea
Soup.

Pea Soup Ingredients
1 tsp cumin
6 cups water
1 Tbs olive oil
1 cup split peas
1 onion chopped
1 potato chopped
1 cup grated carrots
1 clove garlic minced
2 Tbs bragg liquid aminos

Pea Soup Method
Saute the garlic and onion in
olive oil. Add cumin and 2 tablespoons of bragg's and blend
well then add water and split peas and bring to a boil and
simmer 2 minutes. Remove from heat and cover and let sit for
1 hour. Add remaining ingredients and simmer covered over
low heat for about 2 hours. Adjust seasonings in the Split
Pea Soup to taste.

This

It is a quick and easy recipe to make.
My young daughter always eats her soup cold and I thought
it would taste terrible but one day I tried it and to my surprise
it was really delicious so now I make soups in the summer
months to and eat them cold. The Sunshine Soup with Croutons
I like in winter or summer as the milk in it makes it nice
and creamy and it really taste good hot or cold.
Sunshine Soup with Croutons Ingredients
300ml
milk
onion salt to taste
500g
potatoes diced
500g pumpkin, diced
600ml
vegetable stock
1/2 can asparagus pieces,
with some liquid

Cook potatoes, pumpkin and
asparagus in stock. When tender puree vegetables in a blender.
Add milk and season with onion salt, heat and serve the soup
with savoury croutons. The Sunshine Soup with Croutons is
good for any time of the year.
