SPLIT PEA SOUP RECIPE

Split Pea Soup.

Split Pea Soup Ingredients

1 tsp cumin
6 cups water
1 Tbs olive oil
1 cup split peas
1 onion chopped
1 potato chopped
1 cup grated carrots
1 clove garlic minced
2 Tbs bragg liquid aminos

Split Pea Soup Method

Saute the garlic and onion in olive oil. Add cumin and 2 tablespoons of bragg's and blend well then add water and split peas and bring to a boil and simmer 2 minutes. Remove from heat and cover and let sit for 1 hour. Add remaining ingredients and simmer covered over low heat for about 2 hours. Adjust seasonings in the Split Pea Soup to taste.

SUNSHINE SOUP WITH CROUTONS RECIPE

Sunshine Soup with Croutons.

This recipe will teach you how to make Sunshine Soup with Croutons. It is a quick and easy recipe to make. My young daughter always eats her soup cold and I thought it would taste terrible but one day I tried it and to my surprise it was really delicious so now I make soups in the summer months to and eat them cold. The Sunshine Soup with Croutons I like in winter or summer as the milk in it makes it nice and creamy and it really taste good hot or cold.

Sunshine Soup with Croutons Ingredients

300ml milk
onion salt to taste
500g potatoes diced
500g pumpkin, diced
600ml vegetable stock
1/2 can asparagus pieces, with some liquid

Sunshine Soup with Croutons Method

Cook potatoes, pumpkin and asparagus in stock. When tender puree vegetables in a blender. Add milk and season with onion salt, heat and serve the soup with savoury croutons. The Sunshine Soup with Croutons is good for any time of the year.
