SAUTEED MUSHROOMS RECIPE

Sauteed Mushrooms.

This recipe will teach you how to make Sauteed Mushrooms. It is a quick and easy recipe to make. They say that mushrooms are a vegetarians meat and the Sauteed Mushrooms are so full of flavour that anyone would enjoy them. I really enjoy the Sauteed Mushrooms on hot buttered toast.

Sauteed Mushrooms Ingredients

1/2 cup water
1/4 cup butter
1 lb mushrooms
1 beef bouillon cube
1/2 cup cooking wine
lemon pepper to taste

Sauteed Mushrooms Method

Saute the mushrooms and lemon pepper in the butter until the mushrooms are slightly brown. Add the water and cooking wine and bring to a boil. Add the beef bouillon cube and cook the Sauteed Mushrooms until thickened.

SCALLOPED POTATOES AND TOMATOES RECIPE

Scalloped Potatoes and Tomatoes.

This recipe will teach you how to make Scalloped Potatoes and Tomatoes. It is a quick and easy recipe to make. This is an absolutely great way of doing potatoes and tomatoes together and my husband and I like the Scalloped Potatoes and Tomatoes with a big green salad.

Scalloped Potatoes and Tomatoes Ingredients

3 Tbs olive oil
2 Tbs grated cheese
1 Tbs chopped parsley
2 cloves garlic chopped
2 onions finely chopped
750g tomatoes chopped
salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp chopped fresh basil
1 kg potatoes finely sliced

1 tsp chopped fresh thyme


Scalloped Potatoes and Tomatoes Method

Heat one tablespoon of the oil and fry the onions until soft then add the tomatoes and heat through. Combine the garlic and herbs with salt and pepper to taste and one tablespoon of the oil. Lightly grease a baking dish and spread over one third of the tomato mixture. Cover with half the potato arranged in overlapping slices. Layer the remaining tomato mixture, garlic mixture and potatoes finishing with a layer of tomato. Sprinkle the Scalloped Potatoes and Tomatoes with the cheese and remaining oil. Bake the Scalloped Potatoes and Tomatoes in an oven preheated to 400 degrees for 45 minutes or until the potatoes are tender. Serve with green salad.
