recipe is full of flavour with beef and all sorts of vegetables.

Soup Ingredients
64oz water
1 onion diced
2 lbs beef rump
1 cabbage head
1 green pepper diced
4 cloves of garlic minced
6 carrots diced do not peel
6 potatoes diced do not peel
6 stalks of celery with leaves
Cosido
Soup Method
Place the meat, onion, garlic
and green pepper in the water and bring to a boil. Lower the
heat so that the soup barely simmers cover during slow simmer.
When the meat is nearly done place in all other ingredients
and simmer the Cosido Soup until vegetables are done. If the
stock is too thin for your taste you can add a small amount
of cornstarch.

Creamed Broccoli Soup Ingredients
l tsp butter
2 cloves garlic
l onion chopped
l/2 cup milk powder
4 cups vegetable stock
salt and pepper to taste
8 oz fresh cut up mushrooms
1 head broccoli leaves and stems cut into small pieces

Cook broccoli in stock until
just tender. Cook onion, garlic in butter until translucent
then add mushrooms and stir for about 2 minutes. Blend all
food in blender so that it is not totally puree. Add powder
milk and spices. Heat and serve the Creamed Broccoli Soup
with herbed bread.
