GINGER ICE CREAM RECIPE
This recipe

The flavours of the cinnamon, ginger, half and half, sugar
and egg yolks are the wonderful ingredients that go into making
this an exceptional tasting ice cream.

Ginger Ice Cream Ingredients
dash salt
3 egg yolks
1 pint half and half
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
2/3 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup diced candied ginger

Ginger Ice Cream Method
In a saucepan scald the half
and half. Mix together egg yolks, sugar, salt and cinnamon
in the top of a double boiler and set over simmering water
slowly pour in scalded half and half whisking constantly.
Whisk over low heat until mixture is slightly thickened and
smooth then remove from the heat and let cool completely.
Process ice cream in ice cream machine adding ginger when
mixture is slushy. Serve the Cinnamon Ginger Ice Cream with
a ginger cookie.
