My wife makes this pie for me periodically and it is always delicious. No baking is required and it is very easy to make. Makes one Cherry Cream Cheese Pie. If you don't have the time to sit around for 3 hours waiting for the pie to chill make the cream cheese filling the night before and let the pie chill overnight.

Cherry Cream Cheese Pie Ingredients

1 pie shell
1/2 tsp vanilla
8 oz cream cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
4 oz whipped cream
14 oz cherry pie filling
1/3 cup granulated sugar

Cherry Cream Cheese Pie Method

Cream together the cheese and sour cream then fold in the sugar gradually then add vanilla and mix well. Fold in whipped cream and pour into pie shell and chill for at least 3 hours. Pour excess syrup from the can of cherry pie filling. Leave some, but you certainly don't need all of it. The sauce should cover the cream cheese mix but the cherries shouldn't be drowning in it. Pour pie filling on top. Serve the Cherry Cream Cheese Pie cold.

CHOCOLATE CRACKLE PIE RECIPE

Chocolate Crackle Pie.

This recipe will teach you how to make Chocolate Crackle Pie. It is a quick and easy recipe to make. When I was young my mother made chocolate crackles and I just absolutely could not stop eating them, but now I make the Chocolate Crackle Pie it only last my family one meal.

Chocolate Crackle Pie Ingredients

For the Crackle Crust:
1/4 lb copha
1/2 cup coconut
1 1/2 Tbs cocoa
4 Tbs icing sugar
2 cups rice bubbles

For The Filling:
2 egg yolks
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 can sweetened condensed milk

For The Topping:
1 cup cream sweetened and whipped

Chocolate Crackle Pie Method

Place the rice bubbles, coconut, icing sugar and cocoa in a bowl. Melt the copha and pour it over the ingredients in the bowl. Mix thoroughly then press evenly into an 8 inch tart plate and place in the refrigerator to set. Beat the egg yolks with milk and a good 1/2 cup lemon juice until well mixed then pour into the chocolate crackle crust, it is important to have a good measure of lemon juice otherwise the filling will not set. Chill until set then decorate the Chocolate Crackle Pie with the whipped sweetened cream.
