GLAZED CARROTS RECIPE

This recipe

Glazed Carrots is a sensational way of doing carrots. The
flavours of the carrots mixed with orange rind, apple juice
and ginger makes this vegetarian recipe so tasty and the Glazed
Carrots goes well with vegetarian rissoles.

Carrots Ingredients
1 Tbs corn starch
1 tsp ground ginger
1 Tbs grated orange rind
8 medium carrots sliced thin
1/4 cup frozen apple juice concentrate

Carrots Method
Place carrots in steamer over
1 l/2 cups of boiling water in a saucepan. Cook on medium
heat until tender. Reserve cooking water from carrots. Combine
apple juice, orange rind, cornstarch and ginger in another
saucepan and mix until smooth then stir in carrot water. Cook
stirring constantly until mixture is thick. Add carrots stirring
well to coat with sauce. Glazed Carrots are great with vegetarian
rissoles.

Green Beans is a great way of doing beans. The flavours of
the beans mixed with onion, tomatoes and garlic makes this
recipe so tasty. My children hated beans until I did the Green
Beans this way now they always enjoy them.
Green Beans Ingredients

bay leaf
pinch salt
3 tomatoes
1 cup stock
1 clove garlic
1 onion chopped
1/4 bunch parsley
1 cup spring water
1 tsp virgin olive oil
1 lb green beans cut bite size

Method
Saute onion and garlic in olive
oil. Add all ingredients together and cook in a covered stainless
steel or pyrex dish at low heat until beans are barely tender.
Green Beans are a wonderful recipe to accompany vegetarian
sausages or you can even add the sausages to the recipe.
