SUGARLESS
CAKE RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Sugarless Cake. It is a quick and
easy recipe to make. This cake has a wonderful mixture of
dates, prunes and raisins in it and you mix the other ingredients
with them and you have a sensational tasting Sugarless Cake.
I somtimes make two cakes and put a bit of icing over one
for the ones in my family without diabetes.
Sugarless
Cake Ingredients
2 eggs
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup raisins
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 cup plain flour
1 cup cold water
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup nuts chopped
1 cup dates chopped
1 cup prunes chopped
1 stick margarine melted
Sugarless
Cake Method
Boil dates and prunes in the
one cup of water for 3 minutes then add margarine and raisins
and let cool. Mix flour, soda, salt, eggs, nuts, spices and
vanilla in a bowl and then add to fruit mixture. Stir to blend
then pour into cake tin. Bake the Sugarless Cake at 350 degrees
for 25 to 30 minutes.

TORTE
AU CHOCOLA RECIPE
This
recipe will teach you how to make Torte Au Chocola. It is
a quick and easy recipe to make. This
Torte Au Chocola has a wonderful texture to it.
All my family enjoy this Torte Au Chocola and sometimes I
just make it plain without the filling or just make two and
leave one plain as not all my family want the filling in their
Torte Au Chocola.
Torte Au Chocola Ingredients
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup milk
1/43 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
4 eggs separated
3/4 cup fruit sweet
3/4 cup fudge sweet
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup melted butter
1 3/4 cups cake flour sifted
FILLING:
1 tsp vanilla
3 Tbs fruit sweet
8 oz cream cheese

Au Chocola Method
Sift dry ingredients together
and set aside. Combine the butter, fruit sweet, fudge sweet
and vanilla. Add the yolks to the liquid mixture blending
one at a time. Add the flour mixture to the liquid mixture
alternately with the milk. Whip the egg whites to stiff peaks
and fold in gently but thoroughly. Bake at 350 degrees for
1/2 hour in 2 x 9 inch round greased and floured tins. When
cooked the cake will spring back when lightly touched. For
a drier cake bake until the cake draws away from the edge
of the pan then cool.
FILLING:
Blend all filling ingredients together. Cream cheese may be
warmed slightly to soften for blending. Fill cake then frost
with whipped cream sweetened to taste with fruit sweet and
flavoured with vanilla.
