BEEF
ROLLS WITH WINE RECIPE
Just thinking of Beef Rolls
With Wine makes me very hungry. The smell of the house when
the Beef Rolls With Wine are cooking is just so wonderful.
My neighbour even comments that she can tell when I'm cooking
Beef Rolls With Wine as the smell just travels outside, I
gave her a taste one night when I was cooking them and now
she wants the recipe.
Beef Rolls
With Wine Ingredients
1/2 cup claret
1/2 cup stock
1 clove garlic
salt and pepper
1 Tbs melted fat
1/2 lb sausage meat
1 1/2 lb topside steak
1 Tbs chopped parsley
2 Tbs seasoned plain flour
3/4 cup finely chopped onion
Beef Rolls
With Wine Method
Trim the fat from the steak
and cut the steak into pieces about 2 by 3 inches and flatten
with a meat mallet. Then after you do this put in a bowl crushed
garlic and mix with the sausage meat, onion, parsley and a
little salt and pepper. Spread some of this mixture on each
piece of steak. Roll up and secure with cocktail picks before
covering with seasoned flour. Heat the oil in a saucepan and
brown the meat rolls on all sides. Pour away any surplus fat
and add the wine and stock. Cover the Beef Rolls With Wine
and simmer gently for about 1 hour or until the meat is tender.
The gravy may be thickened with a little blended flour. Serve
the Beef Rolls With Wine with fluffy mashed potatoes and buttered
carrots.
Enjoy your freshly made Beef
Rolls With Wine!
