BANANA
CARAMEL PIE RECIPE
I make the Banana Caramel Pie
just for my husband and children as I don't like caramel.
My husband believes that is the only thing he doesn't share
with me, but when the children are here it gets eaten real
quick. Now and again on special occasions he gets to have
a Banana Caramel Pie just for himself and he can't control
himself and eats it within two days, he loves his sweets.

Caramel Pie Ingredients

1 cup whipping cream
1/4 cup confectioners sugar
9 inch prepared graham cracker crust
14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
2 x 1.4 oz bars english toffee candy crushed
Banana
Caramel Pie Method
The very
first thing to do is preheat the oven to 325 degrees . Take
a large saucepan and fill it with water and put it on the
top of the stove and bring it to a boil. Then in a small baking
dish pour the sweetened condensed milk and cover it with aluminum
foil. Set this dish in a larger baking pan and place the pan
on the oven rack and pour the boiling water into larger pan
until it is at least 1 inch deep. Carefully slide rack back
into oven. Bake until milk is thick and caramelized about
1 hour.
While you are waiting for the milk to caramalize slice the
bananas and arrange them onto the graham cracker crust. When
the milk has caramalized and gone thick pour it over the bananas
and allow to cool 30 minutes. Whip the cream in a medium bowl
until soft peaks formand then add confectioners sugar and
continue to whip until stiff. Spread over the cooled Banana
Caramel Pie and then sprinkle it with the crushed toffee.
Chill the Banana Caramel Pie for 3 hours before serving.
Enjoy your freshly made Banana
Caramel Pie!
