BANANA
BRAN ROLLS RECIPE
When I was pregnant with my
children I always craved bananas or anything that tasted like
banana, this is where the Banana Bran Rolls were really good
as I could cook two at a time so I always had the taste of
banana in the house. I believed to sit down with a slice of
the Banana Bran Rolls and a cup of tea just made my day. That
was a lot of years ago as my daughters are now cooking the
Banana Bran Rolls for there children.

Bran Rolls Ingredients
2 eggs
90g butter
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup mashed banana
1 cup chopped dates
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup unprocessed bran
1 1/4 cups wholemeal self raising flour

Bran Rolls Method
The first thing to do is grease
2 nut roll tins. In a small bowl with an electric mixer cream
butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one
at a time until combined and then stir in the dates, walnuts,
banana and bran, sifted flour and milk. Mix well. Spoon the
mixture into the prepared tins. Bake the rolls in a moderate
oven for about 1 hour and then remove and let stand in tins
with lids on for about 10 minutes before you remove lids and
tip out onto a wire rack to cool.
