CRANBERRY PIE RECIPE
What a wonderful mixture of
apples and cranberries goes into making Apple Cranberry Pie.
The colour of the apple and cranberries looks really good.
I like a slice of Apple Cranberry Pie with vanilla yoghurt
but my family prefer the pie with either ice cream or just
whipped cream. With the pie you can choose whatever you like,
its even just good on its own without anything else.

Cranberry Pie Ingredients
1 x double crust pie crust
1/3 cup light corn syrup
2 cups cranberries, fresh or frozen
3/4 cups sugar
1/4 cup corn starch
1 tsp cinnamon
5 cups peeled apple slices
1 Tbs sugar
1 Tbs butter
1 Tbs milk

Cranberry Pie Method
Heat oven
to 450 degrees. Using a 9 inch pie pan put one of the pie
crusts into it. Stir sugar, corn starch and cinnamon in a
large bowl until well mixed. Mix apples, cranberries and corn
syrup in another large bowl. After that add the fruit to the
sugar mixture and then combine it all together. Spoon the
mixture into pie crust in the pie pan and put a dab of butter
on it. Next thing is to put the second crust on top. Cut four
4 inch slashes in the center of crust forming a criss cross
design.
Peel back center points and press lightly in crust to hold
and form 8 petals. Brush crust with milk and sprinkle with
sugar and then bake the Apple Cranberry Pie for 10 minutes
in the oven at 450 degrees. Reduce the temperature to 350
degrees and keep baking for 40 minutes or until it is golden
brown. Remove the pie from the oven and sit it on a wire rack
until it is completely cooled.
